Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated 2026-07-25
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, this site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The programs
Links to these shops may be affiliate links:
- Bookshop.org — print books, with a share going to independent bookshops.
- Amazon Associates — print and Kindle editions.
Applications to Kobo (through Rakuten Advertising) and Libro.fm (through Awin) are pending or inactive. Until they're approved, those links are plain links and earn nothing — the site checks each program's status when the page loads rather than assuming.
What this does not change
This matters more than the disclosure itself, so it's worth being blunt about:
- Nobody pays for placement. No publisher, studio, author or shop has paid, asked, or been asked to appear here, or to appear higher up.
- The quiz doesn't steer you toward the profitable answer. Results are scored purely on how you answer the questions. The scoring doesn't know which entries have a buy link, and several of the best answers it can give you cost nothing at all.
- The free option is always shown. Every book on this site carries a library link, and it is never hidden below the paid one. Borrowing it is a completely good outcome; nobody earns anything and that's fine.
- Opinions are unbought. Every verdict here was written by a person who read, watched, or played the thing.
If you'd rather not
Go to the shop directly and search for the title yourself. You'll get the same edition at the same price, and nothing is attributed here. That is a perfectly reasonable thing to do and no part of the site will nag you about it.
Prices and availability
Prices, editions and availability are set by the shops and change without notice. Anything shown here can be out of date; the shop's own page is the authority.
The legal bit
This disclosure exists because of the US Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements and material connections (16 CFR Part 255), which require anyone with a financial stake in a recommendation to say so clearly. Consider it said. Questions to sara@sarakay.me.
